I am a freelance photographer based in Frederiksberg, an enclave within Copenhagen. I specialise in creating intimate portraits of people and spaces, and the memory they hold.
I am also a researcher dealing with the past and its narratives created by social actors to pursue their very contemporary goals. I transform some of my research into non-academic stories.
I shoot film. I say ‘no’ to Hasselblad not because of ideological reasons. There is a whole world of other equipment out there, such as Japanese Zenza Bronica and East German Pentacon Six, and I love exploring it.
I use analogue photography in teaching social sciences and humanities university courses.
